🐾 Animal Welfare Committee

Purpose: Promote the well-being of animals in our community by encouraging responsible pet ownership and fostering a safe, pet-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Education & Outreach: Share resources on pet care, health, and local regulations.

• Policy & Safety: Recommend and help enforce pet policies (leash laws, waste disposal, noise control).

• Community Engagement: Organize pet-friendly events, adoption drives, and volunteer activities.

• Animal Control: Coordinate with local services on stray or aggressive animals; ensure pet and resident safety.

• Emergency Preparedness: Provide guidance on pet safety during disasters.

• Conflict Resolution: Mediate pet-related disputes among residents.

• Collaboration: Partner with local shelters, vets, and animal welfare groups.

🛠️ Maintenance Committee

Purpose: Ensure the proper upkeep of common areas and facilities, keeping the community safe, functional, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repairs: Plan, schedule, and oversee landscaping, cleaning, and repair tasks.

• Facility Management: Monitor amenities (playgrounds, courts, clubhouses) and coordinate with contractors.

• Inspections: Conduct routine checks and report maintenance needs to the HOA board.

• Resident Engagement: Inform residents about schedules, address concerns, and promote volunteer clean-ups.

• Policy Compliance: Develop and update policies to align with HOA rules and local regulations.

Roles:

• Members: Support planning and inspections.

• Maintenance Staff (if any): Carry out day-to-day tasks and report issues.

🎉 Social & Cultural Affairs Committee

Purpose: Build community spirit by organizing events and activities that bring residents together and enhance social well-being.

• Community Engagement: Encourage participation, welcome new residents, and gather feedback.

• Budget & Promotion: Manage event funds and promote activities through flyers, newsletters, and social media.

• Execution: Coordinate with vendors and volunteers to ensure smooth events.

• Volunteer Support: Recruit and recognize volunteers who help make events successful.

• Policy Compliance: Ensure activities follow HOA bylaws and local regulations.

🎉 Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Committee

Purpose:
Promote safety, preparedness, and resilience within the community by organizing and implementing disaster risk reduction and emergency response initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Disaster Preparedness: Develop and implement plans for emergencies such as fire, floods, earthquakes, and other hazards.

Coordination: Work closely with the Barangay DRRMC and other local authorities for effective disaster response and compliance with regulations.

Awareness & Training: Conduct seminars, drills, and information campaigns to educate residents on safety and emergency procedures.

Emergency Response: Lead and assist during emergencies, ensuring proper communication, evacuation, and safety measures are followed.

Resource Management: Maintain emergency equipment, supplies, and updated contact lists for quick response.

Monitoring & Reporting: Identify potential risks, monitor community safety, and submit reports or recommendations to the Board.

Policy Compliance: Ensure all DRRM activities align with HOA bylaws and government guidelines.

Roles:

Chairperson: Leads planning, coordination, and overall DRRM initiatives.

Members: Assist in training, planning, communication, and emergency response efforts.

Volunteers: Support drills, information drives, and on-ground emergency assistance.

🎉 Communications Committee 

Purpose:
Strengthen transparency, connection, and engagement by ensuring clear, timely, and responsible communication between the Board and all homeowners and residents. 

Key Responsibilities:

📢 Platform Management:
Oversee and maintain official communication channels such as social media pages, messaging groups, website, email, and bulletin boards.

📝 Content Creation & Publication:
Prepare and publish approved announcements, advisories, notices, newsletters, and community updates.

🎨 Creative Materials:
Design and assist in producing posters, graphics, and other informational materials.

📣 Community Promotion:
Promote meetings, programs, activities, and events to encourage active participation.

🔍 Information Integrity:
Help prevent misinformation by ensuring that only verified and approved information is shared.

💻 Digital Improvement:
Recommend enhancements to the Association’s website, social media presence, and communication systems.

🗂️ Records Management:
Maintain proper documentation and archives of all official communications.

🔐 Data Privacy Compliance:
Ensure all activities comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, including securing consent before publishing personal information or images.

🤝 Board Coordination:
Work under the supervision of the Board and ensure all official statements—especially on financial, legal, or policy matters—are properly approved.

Roles:

Chairperson: Leads the committee, coordinates communication strategies, and ensures alignment with Board directives. 

Members: Assist in content creation, platform management, community engagement, and administrative tasks. 

Volunteers: Support in design, posting, documentation, and promotion of community information.
